Outdoor bathing

We have taken a lot of showers and baths here at Tibbetts Wilderness.  As a kid I remember my dad coming home from work all hot and dirty.  He’d go down to his bathing rock in the brook and take a sailor shower and scream because of the ice cold water.

 

As we progressed, my mom used an upside down umbrella to hold a shower curtain (which as a young girl I thought was ingenious!   ) Until you took your shower and the shower curtain stuck to you.

 

Seeing we have a cedar lined sauna i wanted to add a taste of adventure and add and oudoor experienceso this weekend i created an outdoor bathing area… with privacy fence, cast iron chaira, lighted lantern, prepped for may flowers 🌸 💐  Cant wait to indulge!
